Fans in India were abuzz with speculation regarding the potential return of Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan to lend his voice to the beloved character of Mufasa, much like he did for the 2019 live-action Hindi dubbed version of 'The Lion King'. Desi twitterati also rooted for the makers to cast AbRam Khan as young Mufasa.
