Powerful storms roared across parts of southern Oklahoma Tuesday night and produced dangerous and unusual tornadoes, including one incredibly rare type.

Matthew 25: Ministries, the humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization headquartered near Cincinnati, is deploying its disaster response team to the Great Plains to assist those impacted by the deadly tornadoes. Multiple tornadoes were reported, with the most destructive storms moving across locations in Nebraska, Iowa, and Oklahoma. Hundreds of buildings have been damaged or destroyed, trees and powerlines uprooted or knocked down, and thousands are without power.

More than 100 tornadoes were detected in six states in the Midwest over the weekend.

EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU)— Here is a clip of a tornado going on right near Lincoln Nebraska on I-80. Nebraska is experiencing multiple tornadoes with the most destructive storm moving just northwest of Omaha which has a population of around 485,000 people.
