Municipal Immunization Program News Today

SAO PAULO. KAZINFORM - Polio vaccination rates in Brazil have been falling since 2016, the last time the country surpassed 90 percent vaccination coverage of the target audience. The goal of the National Immunization Program (PNI) is to vaccinate between 90 and 95 percent of children under 5 years old, Kazinform cites Agencia Brasil.

According to the Pan American Health Organization, most infections are asymptomatic, but 5 to 10 out of every 100 infected individuals may experience flu-like symptoms.
