The motorcyclist, a 52-year-old Frazee man, suffered neck and leg injuries, and was wearing full safety gear at the time of the Aug. 14 crash, according to an emergency dispatcher report. The other driver, a 54-year-old Detroit Lakes woman, also suffered undisclosed injuries. Both were transported to Essentia Health St. Mary’s in Detroit Lakes for treatment.

Detroit Lakes High School senior Jonah Hauser, 17, has launched his own honey business, centered on the bees he keeps in hives at several different locations in the area. He has also branched out to sell CBD-infused honey products in a partnership with his friend, Zack Schroeder, and plans to start a farm stand at his grandparents' property near town sometime next year.

On Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 7:33 a.m., on the 37000 block of County Road 150, Frazee, a school bus left the roadway a crashed into the ditch. One student suffered minor injuries and was bleeding at the scene. The student was transported to a nearby medical clinic for treatment. The incident is under investigation.
