One of the owners tells FOX 26 that after the story aired about Miss Myrtle's Bakery Shoppe in October, many customers came to show their support.

The daughters of Myrtle Jackson, the founder of Ms. Myrtle's Bakery Shoppe, say the business will close after the 2023 holiday season. The bakery was a staple in the community for 23 years and employed three generations of their family.
