KUALA LUMPUR: The Magistrate's Court has acquitted Datuk SM Faisal SM Nasimuddin of the charge of injuring his ex-wife Emilia Hanafi eight years ago, after the woman withdrew the case against the businessman.

KUALA LUMPUR: Prominent businessman Datuk SM Faisal SM Nasimuddin and his ex-wife Emilia Hanafi are set to discuss an out-of-court settlement for all their court cases.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Magistrate's Court was told on Friday (March 24) that Emilia Hanafi and her ex-husband Datuk SM Faisal SM Nasimuddin will carry out amicable negotiation to resolve the case over her allegation that the businessman assaulted her.

Trial resumes on March 30 if no resolution reached.
