Houstonians have decided who will lead the city in the years ahead following Saturday’s runoff elections.

With results in from all voting centers and polling places across Houston, three incumbents on the Houston City Council will retain their seats that were up for election during Dec. 9 runoffs.

The Houston City Council voted Wednesday to spend $2.66 million to replace a series of decorative bridge lights along the Southwest Freeway. Construction on a new set of lights likely won't begin for at least a year.
