VAN WERT A birthday card shower is planned for Leah Ries, who will celebrate her 100th birthday on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021.
Leah
is the wife of late Rev. R. Wayne Ries who preceded her in death on
April 14, 2007. Her children include Connie (Ries) KnittleÂ-Jones,
Robert (Bob) Ries, and Nancy Ries, all who reside in Van Wert, Ohio. Her
son, Stephen Ries, died Dec. 5, 1979.
Leah grew up and attended
Middle Point High School where she was an honor student and cheerleader.
