Delhi Weather Update: Several flights were delayed at Delhis Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) due to low visibility amid dense fog. Many train services were also affected in the national capital.

Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts very dense fog conditions in North India till 22 January, amid several trains and flights delay.

Train Delay: Among the worst-hit trains were Amritsar-Nanded Express (12716) and the Jammutawi-Ajmer Pooja Express (12414), both struggling with a debilitating 6-hour delay. The Kaifiyat Express (12225) from Azamgarh and the Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express (12801) also faced significant setbacks.

LUDHIANA: In a setback for rail passengers of the city and state, majority of trains for Amritsar still remain short terminated or cancelled for the time being.
