Conglomerate Vendanta Group plans to leverage technologies developed by startups under a partnership with Meity-Nascomm Centre of Excellence, a joint statement said on Monday.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at an event at Nasscom CoE between Amitesh Sinha, Head - Vedanta Spark and Sanjeev Malhotra, CEO, MeitY-Nasscom CoE along with the Nasscom CoE team from Bangalore.

The partnership will explore the potential application of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), and Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR), among others, across different verticals of Vedanta Group.

The COVID-19 pandemic over the last three years has pushed the world’s healthcare systems at crossroads of change. In order to achieve a shock-proof and future-ready healthcare system, there is a need for collaboration and a platform where health industry stakeholders can converge, deliberate, cooperate, and work in tandem to bridge the vital gaps in healthcare service delivery.
