Reporter good morning, well this interstate is a main route between california and arizona. And engineers will assess the damage to the bridge this morning. The collapse is being blamed on heavy rains and flooding that shut down the freeway. The bridge 50 miles west of the Arizona State line washed away. Traffic headed toward arizona was forced to turn around. One driver was injured. The Riverside County Fire Department had to extract that driver who crashed in the collapse. Rain, thunder and lightning fell over Southern California in a rare summer storm system. This caused power outages, downed trees, water rescues, and beach closures. Firefighters worked to keep mud out of half a dozen homes. Theres firefighters out there as well as a lot of heavy Equipment Operators that are trying to get that mud and debris up. The passes are 10 a piece and you get the actual pass in the mail once you make the purchase. A spokesperson for septa says you should plan early and be prepared to wait in long lines that weekend. When you get to your train station, try to get there as early as you can, try to get people to drop you off, and you will have to wait in long lines to get on the train and once you get into the city you are going to have to walk to the event.
