ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 15, 2023) – Kelly Selby, co-owner of Community Pharmacy in Denton, Texas, was named the recipient of the 2023 National Preceptor of the Year Award by the National Community Pharmacists Association Foundation as part of NCPA’s Annual Convention, which was held Oct. 14-17 in Orlando. This award recognizes a pharmacist who has made a significant contribution to the education of pharmacy students as a preceptor in a community practice setting.
Nominations are due in just two weeks for two awards issued by the NCPA Foundation including the NARD Ownership Award, recognizing an independent pharmacist who embraces entrepreneurial spirit through promotion and demonstrated excellence in the field of community pharmacy ownership, and the National Preceptor of the Year Award, recognizing a pharmacist who has made a significant contribution to the education of pharmacy students as a preceptor in a community practice setting.
