Relatively quiet day in the treasury market. This will be the last day of trading for the week here in the u. S. Because of the good friday holiday tomorrow. The s p 500, on the biggest gain since 1974 on a weekly basis. Every week, there is some sort of superlative like that. Any gain today would have resulted in building on the onemonth high we posted yesterday. What is interesting is that volume is somewhat higher than yesterday. Quite a bit higher. S p, 30 40 nd higher than yesterday. I think a lot of people are going to be sitting on their hands next week as they wait for the earnings season to begin.
