PETALING JAYA: In recognition of their social contribution in making Malaysia a better place for all, three individuals and seven organisations have been named the winners of this year’s Star Golden Hearts Award (SGHA).

Nestled amid the Serendah Forest in Hulu Selangor, Selangor, Umah Temuan is a community-driven tourism venture involving two social enterprises.

The Umah Temuan homestay is an initiative designed to empower the Temuan Orang Asli people of Kampung Serendah with sustainable economic opportunities.

Spearheaded by F&B movers and shakers, the chef-driven Kita Food Festival will host a series of masterclasses and collaborative dinners.
