Rear Admiral Gallaudet (U.S. Navy, Ret.) is the former Deputy Administrator of NOAA, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere, and Oceanographer of the Navy. He was the principal author of the 2020 NOAA Uncrewed Systems Strategy and the 2017 Naval Oceanography Unmanned Systems Strategy. Currently, he is a member of the Association of Unmanned Systems International’s (AUVSI) Maritime Advocacy Committee. Gallaudet is also host of ASPN's American Blue Economy Podcast.
