The stink raised by NCB’s arrest of Aryan Khan promises to last for a long time

Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan, who is the prime accused in the cruise ship drug case, will be released from Arthur Road jail on October 30, Saturday.

An ad for the cruise liner, underwater after NCB raided it, appeared in the newspaper the day after Khan received bail and the news was on the front page.

A new case of cheating was registered against Kiran Gosavi, one of the NCB witnesses in the cruise ship drug bust case involving Aryan Khan, on Friday, the police said.

Aryan Khan's bail plea was rejected by the special court on October 20 in the case following which his judicial custody in the matter got extended till October 30. Khan approached the Bombay High Court for an urgent bail hearing.

It was on October 03 that Aryan Khan, along with several others were arrested by the NCB in a drug case

A case was registered against Gosavi with Faraskhana police station of Pune city on May 19, 2018, for allegedly committing fraud by promising a person a job in Malaysia by taking money. However, he neither returned the money nor offered the job to the complainant.

The NCB on Wednesday recorded Wankhede's statement for more than four hours in connection with allegations of extortion levelled by Prabhakar Sail, a witness in the Aryan Khan drugs case.

According to police, Gosavi was booked for allegedly duping a Pune-based man on the pretext of offering a job in Malaysia.
