Thursday, January 13, at 11:00a.m. CT the North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) will host a live virtual Town Hall to discuss topics surrounding the COVID-19 Omicron variant, including infectiousness, severity, vaccine protection, treatments and more.

(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota Department of Health says it has received 18-thousand of the newly approved pediatric COVID-19 vaccine. The FDA has authorized emergency use of the vaccine for children between five and eleven-years-old. NDDoH Immunization Program Director Molly Howell says healthcare providers are in the process of "educating staff and updating protocols."
