Damage to infrastructure due to the magnitude 7.0 earthquake that shook Northern Luzon last week has reached P1.261 billion.

More than P700 million worth of damage in infrastructure has been reported due to the magnitude 7 earthquake that hit Abra, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Monday.

A total of 1,248 people were evacuated in Ilocos region due to the magnitude 7.0 earthquake that hit Abra on Wednesday, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said Thursday.
