Thursday Entertainment Notes

There will be zero degrees of separation between the Bacon Brothers when they perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas.

Soprano Kristin Lewis, an Arkansas native, University of Central Arkansas alumna and opera star in North America and Europe, joins the Conway Symphony Orchestra and conductor Israel Getzov for a program titled "Luminous! The CSO with Kristin Lewis," 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Reynolds Performance Hall at UCA in Conway.

The Arkansas Chamber Singers, with guest conductor Gabriel Statom and harpist Anna Kathryn Pepper, perform traditional carols and a little bit of movie music for "An English Christmas," 7 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Old State House in Little Rock.

Opera in the Ozarks kicks off its 2022 summer music festival with Giacomo Puccini's opera "La Rondine," 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Inspiration Point Fine Arts Colony Theatre, five miles west of Eureka Springs.

Party at the Plaza, a benefit for Arkansas Hospice, takes place Saturday in North Little Rock’s Argenta Arts District, centering on the Argenta Plaza at 510 Main St.

"Pirates and Popstars" is the theme for this year's SoMa 501 "SoMardi Gras Parade," noon Saturday, featuring floats, walking groups, classic cars and pets. A promotional pitch for the parade suggests, "Think Madonna, Blackbeard, or maybe Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow riding down Main Street in the Black Pearl!"

"The Price Is Right Live" will be on stage 7 p.m. Sunday at Robinson Center Performance Hall in Little Rock.
