Netflix Ad-supported tier in India: Netflixs cheaper, ad-supported plan has been wildly successful in the countries where it has been launched. The cheaper ad-supported plans have brought many new customers to the streaming giant, because of which it plans to launch it in India.

Netflix Canada has recently announced a few changes coming to the platform including cracking down on shared accounts and offering a cheaper alternative. Well, the latter has officially come into effect as of November 1 with the newest Netflix "Basic With Adverts" plan.
