THE COUNCIL has agreed a plan to plant thousands of trees every year across the city.

While February saw new leases down 12% on the same month last year, SOGO says this was due to delivery delays, and demand remained ahead of 2021.  Karl Howkins, managing director for SOGO, said: “The commercial vehicle sector continues to perform strongly. THE city’s plan to reduce carbon emissions includes investing in walking and cycling, replacing street lighting with LEDs and a BBQ ban across parks and beaches. The plan sets the direction for action on climate change by Brighton and Hove City Council to “accelerate the city’s transition to carbon neutrality by 2030”. Forecasts show the city will still be emitting just under 600 thousand tonnes of CO2 by 2030 – well above the council’s target of about 250 thousand tonnes. T...
