NEW WASHOE CITY, Nev. — Join a park ranger and the staff from Nevada Bugs and Butterflies for a bug walk at Washoe Lake State Park. Participants will look for butterflies, caterpillars, and other interesting insects in the willows next to Deadman’s Creek.

Center for Biological Diversity: RENO, Nev.— Nevada’s Assembly Natural Resources Committee will consider a bill today that would give the state’s Department of Wildlife authority to manage pollinators and other insects that need conservation.
