A man has been arrested after a resident was shot during an armed home invasion on Friday night in Taunton, Massachusetts.

Responding officers were let into the multi-family and entered a second-floor apartment to find two men grappling on the ground near a gun. Officers ordered the two men to stop fighting and noticed that one of the two men had apparently been shot in the leg.

Police say it appears shots were fired into another unit in the multifamily home, but that a woman and four children who live in that apartment were not hurt.
