When it comes to the i.c.e. thing, i think maybe that was a head fake. on the war or the striking in iran, im not so sure about that. i think he might have wanted to do that and then somehow got scared out of doing it. and this is how -- he needs someone to blame when mistakes are made. so far the mistakes have been bad mistakes. they havent been something like starting a war. i think he wanted to do it, and then he got sort of faked out himself, and that he had no back up for who he was going t...

Abolishes or reformed in some way. i want to go to our audience member jeff fortny. you are a teacher who works with families living in fear. how does that connect with this abolish i.c.e. movement? >> i think theres a lot of fear, and i think thats playing in the abolish i.c.e. thing pushes peoples fear buttons. on the other side of that, we have families that are here, that are working, that are sending their kids to school, that are trying to do their right thing, and they fear about if theyr...

To see the president naked. i found that odd. the whole abolish i.c.e. thing, i think the democrats are abolishing their chance of winning in the midterms. this happened in the iraq war and they attacked our troops. it hurt them politically. a couple years ago, democrats went after police and that hurt them politically. they are just walking into another brick wall with his anti-i.c.e. stuff and it so far out of the mainstream american society, i cant believe they dont see it. >> juan: you guys ...

Legalized and the family separation. republicans think i.c.e. and the abolition of i.c.e. is an issue for them. who gets the upper hand here? >> well, i think for the last decade and a half or so, the issue has worked for the democrats. and i think theres a lot of suspicion that president obama for example as a senator and as president preferred to have the issue, in other words, accusing republicans of being racist and so forth than to have a resolution. i thought earlier this year that the fai...

>> no, but you are seeing -- democrats are now trying to move back in line, not supporting the position, trying not to. and youve got republicans in the administration rushing to meet this deadline and essentially going back to the previous policy, which some people call catch and release. theoretically we are back to the status quo. you would think that might put us back in a position where you would have some sort of immigration compromise, but congress is so dysfunctional and tribal now its n...

Administration did to those children. >> i am curious what you think and sort of if youve done -- if youve had whiplash here. yesterday at that hearing you had republicans trashing law enforcement and you had democrats standing up for the fbi and the rule of law. you know, the characterization of both parties, you know, is -- and i think even cedric richmond said as an african-american man its not always easy to defend the fbi. >> yeah. and i hope that voters will remember this when republicans ...
