Nice Weekend News Today

A survey from the States reveals that a big burst of exercise at the weekend is as good as spreading the activity across the week. The findings are pretty conclusive, based on tracking the activity of 350,000 people over a 10-year period (they do big portions in America, right?). And it’s bad news for the weekend, because the weekend was getting pretty full already.

How about that weather? Sunshine and warm temperatures spread across Montana with many towns setting record highs in the 70s and low 80s.

The wind did not knock all of the leaves off of the trees, so there still is come color on the ground with even more color in the sky potentially.

Powerful winds swept across the state knocking down leaves, carrying them seemingly almost to North Dakota.

The weekend is here and so is sunshine and warmer temperatures, which will not only make for a great Saturday and Sunday but for viewing of the solar eclipse.

Powerful thunderstorms have hit much of the state recently but that activity really will calm down for the weekend.

Most sunny skies will be in place early Thursday. A few late day isolated storms may develop in the eastern Piedmont Triad Thursday with highs in the upper 80s.
