EXCLUSIVE: The four volunteers for the Weymouth RNLI in Dorset had legally parked their vehicles close to the lifeboat station so they could respond to the shout quickly.

A traffic warden has sparked outrage by giving a lifeboat crew parking tickets while they were out rescuing people in trouble on the sea.

The four volunteers all spent four hours on a 999 call dealing with three paddle boarders who got into difficulty in Portland Harbour, Dorset.

More than 40 serving and former Red Arrows personnel - many of them young women - have accused male colleagues of sexual misconduct and bullying.

The officer joined the elite Lincolnshire-based flying unit earlier this year. But after just six months, she filed a complaint to top military brass about behaviour that made her feel uncomfortable.

The training was given to the RAFs aerobatic team at RAF Scrampton and included the Red Arrows, days after 40 personnel gave 250 hours of evidence in an enquiry into the toxic unit.

Air Chief Marshal Sir Mike Wigston, who launched an investigation into accusations of inappropriate behaviour in December 2021, has said legitimate questions are being asked.

Red Arrows pilots reportedly played Met roulette, in which they drank alcohol well into the early hours of the morning if a display was at risk of being cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
