Tonight, investigators from the National Transportation safety board are on the scene of a horrifying rail disaster. It happened about 20 miles north of new york city at the end of the tuesday evening rush. A commuter train out of Grand Central terminal slammed into an suv that stopped on a crossing. The explosion lit up the night sky. The driver and five on the train were killed. Several others were injured. Vinita nair is in valhalla new york.
