A 23-year-old West Nipissing resident has been charged following a police investigation into an unwanted person in Sturgeon Falls this week.
Members of the Nipissing West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded Wednesday at 9:53 p.m. to a theft from a residence on Nipissing Street.

A description of a suspicious person, seen outside the residence, was provided to police.
That same evening at 10:02 p.m., police responded to an “unwanted person” at a residence on Salter Street, a statement from OPP says.
Threatened to kill spouse
A Sudbury suspect has a May court date following a domestic disturbance at a residence on Highway 17 in Markstay-Warren.

In a release, the Nipissing West Detachment of the OPP said officers were called at 3:08 p.m. on April 3.
As a result, they charged a 54-year-old suspect with spousal assault and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm to a spouse.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice next month in Sudbury.
