More than 500 children and families gathered at Pope John Paul II Park in Neponset on Oct. 26 for the annual Halloween Pumpkin Parade, formerly the Pumpkin Float, for a night of music, games, costumes, and – of course – candy by the handful. The event had been cancelled due to the pandemic for a couple of years but returned last year with good results.

The First Baby Born At Hillcrest Medical Center In 2021 The first baby born at Hillcrest Medical Center in 2021 came into the world at 12:05 a.m. on Friday. His name is Noah Jacobs and he was born to parents Sarah and Lorrin Jacobs. Noah weighed in at 5 pounds, 6.4 ounces and is just over 17 inches long. Sarah and Lorrin received a cart full of baby supplies to celebrate their new year baby.
