Two actors who didn’t know each other find unique and honest ways of creating a comedic double-act in the Ossie Davis revival at the Music Box Theatre.

“Purlie Victorious: A Non-Confederate Romp Through The Cotton Patch” had its official opening night at The Music Box Theatre.

The revival of the Ossie Davis play opened on Broadway September 27. Hannah Waddingham, Samuel L. Jackson, and more were in attendance.
