It’s been busy month for our Isle of Wight Coastguard Rescue Teams, from a fake skeleton in Ryde to a boat crash in Cowes.

HM Coastguard responded to reports of a person stuck in the Priory Bay area.

The Isle of Wight cliffs between Yaverland and Whitecliff are subject to falls, especially at Redcliff.

Parkdean Resorts, which operates four holiday parks on the Isle of Wight, has secured an unprecedented back-to-back hat-trick of Gold Awards at the British Travel Awards.  

Fire, Coastguard and RNLI crews were called to Nodes Point, near Priory Bay.

Generous volunteers across the Isle of Wight recently joined team members at Nodes Point and Thorness Bay Holiday Parks to take part in the Marine Conservation Society’s annual Great British Beach Clean.

The holiday park operator had a successful August.

Mud which blends in to the coastal environment, made worse by recent cliff falls of slimy and sticky clay, has led to three rescues in four days.

Firefighters alongside coastguard and paramedic teams arrived at the scene.
