Yesterday, as I was working my weekly volunteer shift at GREAT in Greenwood, one of our students leaned over and asked me to help her trot. First, I was humbled that she trusted me to keep her safe while doing something that she was scared of doing. Second, I realized how blessed I was to be able to work with such incredible individuals. When most folks think of inclusivity, they think of race or gender, they don t think of the people living daily with physical, cognitive, or behavioral challenges.
