NORTH WALES — A local landmark could be coming down soon. "I'm sad to say this, but I think it's time that we take a look at Walnut Square, and the arch," said council President Jim Sando. "As I walked through there the other day, I noticed how incredibly infested with carpenter bees it has become," he said. - Advertisement - Located in the borough's Walnut Street Park just north of the intersection of Main and Walnut Streets, a wooden arch stands over a walkway connecting the sidewalk with an adjacent parking lot.
