From more than 8,000 submissions, the Minnesota Department of Transportation released the 49 finalists for its 2024 “Name a Snowplow” contest. And for sleet’s sake, don’t forget to vote!

Eight snowplows – one for each MnDOT district in the state – will be named.

Their collections have been arranged to mimic the look and feel of what might have been seen in a log cabin on America’s frontier in the 1870s.
