Driver Trace Tetrick recorded his 7,000th career victory on Monday, April 10 at Miami Valley Raceway. The milestone win came in the 12th race behind Universal, Tetrick’s third winner on the program.

At ages that most horses are past their prime, a bunch of war horses gathered on Monday (March 20) at Miami Valley Raceway to contest the $30,000 championship leg of the Jim Dailey Memorial Medley. 

Rose Run Uriah set a world record for a five-eighths mile dash at Bally’s Dover (a five-eighths mile track) on Thursday night (March 16).

Nuclear Dragon is set to defend his title in Miami Valley Raceway's annual Jim Dailey Memorial Medley, in which he set the world record of 1:07 for a five-eighths-mile dash in 2022’s first leg and returned two weeks later to win the 1-1/4-mile final in 2:20.3.

Saulsbrook Genesis now shares the title as the fastest horse ever over the Miami Valley five-eighths mile track. He tied the 1:49 record set by Nuclear Dragon in 2018 on Sunday (March 5). 

A large throng showed up at Hollywood Dayton Raceway on Saturday (Dec. 11) to witness and wager on an exciting 14-race card peppered with three mini-series final legs as well as a plethora of opening legs of mini-series for some of the best horses in the southern Ohio and Indiana region.

Gold Digger King, reunited with current Hollywood Dayton dash leader Tyler Smith, returned to the winner's circle with an eye-popping gate-to-wire 1:50.1 win in the $24,000 Open I Handicap Pace on Saturday (Oct. 23).
