Mumbai-based trade shop, Numex Blocks, has become the first in Asia to invest in Shine LED lamp kits, innovated by Miraclon. Nitin Patil of Numex made the decision to invest in Shine LED lamps to retrofit his two exposure units at Drupa. Patil said, "The faster exposure times, better plate consistency, reduced waste and obvious cost benefit of not having to replace the two exposure units with new ones, made it an easy decision."

The wait is over. PrintWeek Awards 2023, the industry’s most-anticipated event, is all set to unfold today at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake.

The Mumbai-based trade shop Numex Blocks well won a silver award in the Miraclon-sponsored Global Flexo Innovation Awards (GFIA), awarded for a successful gravure-to-flexo process conversion involving ‘direct-to-tube’ printing of over 2,500 skincare SKUs. Nitin Patil of Numex says "the gravure-to-flexo conversion was enabled by the productivity and quality offered by Kodak's Flexcel technology”.

Stage set for the Award Night on 2 November
