In 2022, Nutritional Development Services collected nearly 73,000 pounds of non-perishable items through this initiative to support those in need.

Throughout the school year, many students have access to nutritious meals through federal meal programs. In the summer months many children risk being hungry when schools are closed.

For more than four decades, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) has been enriching the Lenten journey of U.S. Catholics through Rice Bowl, the Lenten faith formation program that combines prayer, fasting and almsgiving.

Rice Bowl is a nationwide Lenten program providing people of all ages with a way to put their faith into action through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.

In her latest column ahead of Valentines Day, Sarah Hanley of the Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia writes,

Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and Catholic Relief Services are partnering to host a fair-trade giving basket raffle now through Dec. 16.

The Northeast Family Service Center hosted a giveaway event Nov. 21 distributing full Thanksgiving meals to families in the local community.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia released new audited financial statements Nov. 17 for the 2021-2022 fiscal year, ending June 30, 2022.
