The Florida Classic Weekend kicks off with the annual "Battle of the Bands Showcase." There are a couple of local high school programs performing this year. The Ocoee High School band was one of the local ones chosen to demonstrate their talent in front of thousands of people on Friday.

After a tough battle against the West Orange Warriors that extended to overtime, Ocoee High School will face East Lake during the final round of playoffs for Region 2 Friday, Nov. 25. 


Wins by both West Orange and Ocoee have set up a local rematch of epic proportions. The Warriors and Knights clash this Friday.

In a battle of the Warriors, the West Orange Warriors didn't allow the Steinbrenner Warriors to reach their end zone through the entirety of the game.

The Warriors won the district title for the third consecutive year.
