The recent terrorist attack near Hebron saw 2023 surpass 2022 as one of the deadliest years since the Second Intifada, with 34 victims of terrorism.

The perpetrators of these mob attacks must hear, from all corners of Israeli society and all parts of Israel’s government, that they do not represent us or our values.

Israel cannot let these people think they can get away with fighting terrorism with their sick methods of revenge. They must be held accountable for their violent acts and brought to justice.

Rothman’s statements are deplorable and simply add more white noise of rhetoric that does nothing to deal with the grave problems Israel faces fighting terrorism.
