A trio of players with mixed musical backgrounds including classical, goth, and bluegrass, among others. These musicians have played venues that range from punk houses to The Kennedy Center.

Joe Ayers will pull into Offbeat Roadhouse Friday night, April 12, for a concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU. A renowned musician and historian, Joe will put on a special program featuring Ragtime guitar from the early 20th century.

Spence & the Jazz Cats will pull into Offbeat Roadhouse Friday night, March 29, for a concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU. Made up of UVA faculty and current undergrad and grad students in the Music department, the group will be playing mostly originals, largely inspired by the Post-Bop and Avant-Garde jazz movements of the late 50’s and early 60’s (Mingus, Art Blakey, Ornette Coleman, etc.).

The Cry Babies will pull into Offbeat Roadhouse Friday night, March 1, for a concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU. The Cry Babies are an Americana band made up of local musicians who love to joyfully engage the audience through the songs and stories they share throughout their performance. Their music incorporates beautiful harmonies with a rich bluesy folk sound through original, traditional, and popular songs that will often surprise you as well as warm your heart.

Two-time national flatpicking guitar champion Scott Fore will pull into Offbeat Roadhouse Friday night, February 23, for a concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU.

The Robert Jospé Trio will pull into Offbeat Roadhouse Friday night, February 2, for a concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU. The Jazz trio features Jos on drums, Justin Nelson on keys, and Joseph Nichols on bass.

Jim & Juice will pull into Offbeat Roadhouse Friday night, June 7, for a concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU. Jim Waive has been a Charlottesville institution for many years, with Juice joining him as part of The Young Divorcees.

Drummer Jim Howe and his Jazz Trio will pull into Offbeat Roadhouse Friday night, January 5, for a concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU. We will be treated to an hour of free improvisation.
