The Nigeria Police Force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, has explained that it is unlawful for anyone to declare six officers who were missing in Delta State as dead persons at the moment.    Recall that some policemen were reportedly killed in Ohoro Forest, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State and the same number were declared missing after they were ambushed during a rescue mission of their colleagues.   

Apart from the six policemen killed in two ambushes on March 23 and 26, 2024, six others are still missing.

On March 7, 2024, we all woke up to the bewildering news that students of LEA Primary School and Government Secondary School, and at least one of their teachers had been abducted in Kuriga, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna state.
