A road in the Boardman community will be closed starting Monday due to roadwork on U.S. 74.

BOARDMAN —  An additional bridge and interchange will be constructed on U.S. 74 in Columbus County where Old Boardman Road and Macedonia Church Road intersect, according to the N.C. Department of Transportation.  The department awarded the $16.2 million contract to BMCO Construction Inc. of Lumberton to complete the project.
