Nearly 1,000 motorists have been refunded after they were wrongly charged under Sadiq Khans hated Ulez scheme when a camera was put in the wrong place in northwest London.

Exactly 927 drivers were issued penalty tickets from a camera at the Old Redding junction towards Common Road in Harrow, north-west London.

The camera has since been shut down and relocated after causing havoc, with a local councillor describing the situation as causing severe difficulties.

An ultra-low emission zone (Ulez) camera had to be switched off temporarily after more than 900 drivers were wrongly fined.

The camera in Harrow snared more than 900 drivers despite them not driving in the zone.
