LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — The Chicago Bears are sticking with coach Matt Eberflus in 2024 after the team showed improvement over the second half of the season.

The 72-year old coach, who won Super Bowl 48 but lost to the Patriots the next year, is moving into an advisory role with the team.

The Bears are sticking with head coach Matt Eberflus but remain non-commital on quarterback Justin Fields. They enter the off-season with the first pick in the draft.

For those hoping for this week's decisions at Halas Hall to provide some clarity on the road ahead for the Bears, you're out of luck.
