PDD hosted esteemed Palestinian author Dr. Ghada Karmi to celebrate the launch of her latest book with Pluto Press.

Nakba survivor Ghada Karmi, whose book talk was cancelled after complaints from liberal Zionist groups, argues that its impossible to promote Palestinian rights while also befriending Israel.

Karmi and Lowkey told the Palestine Chronicle that the cancellation of the event was a result of pressure from a pro-Israel group, Yachad. 

Yachad is a British Jewish org whose goal is "to empower British Jews to support a political resolution to the Israeli Palestinian conflict."
