Truck driver arrested on numerous charges following crash

Photo provided Photo provided JACKSON COUNTY – On Sunday, Feb. 14, a truck driver was arrested on numerous charges after leaving the scene of a crash on I-65 in Jackson County, Indiana. At approximately 10:30 am., Trooper Tia Hunt responded to a semi tractor trailer parked on the shoulder of I-65 Northbound near the 53 mile marker, just north of Seymour, Indiana. When Trp. Hunt arrived on the scene, the driver, Kendarius C. Poole, age 29, Riverdale, Georgia, indicated to Trp. Hunt that he just had flat tires that needed repaired and had not been involved in a crash. Trp. Hunt observed the vehicle had fresh damage from a recent crash. Trp. Korry Clark located fresh damage to a guardrail approximately two miles south that matched the damage to Pooles truck and trailer.

Janesville woman faces 5th OWI charge

February 12, 2021 A 47-year-old Janesville woman is facing a number of charges after an early morning traffic stop.  Janesville police say they responded to the 100 block of East Racine Street about 3:30 a.m. Friday morning for a report of two unresponsive occupants in a vehicle parked near some gas pumps.  Officers say the driver, Shawn M. Wethal, showed signs of impairment and submitted to some of the Standardized Field Sobriety tests before she tried to leave on foot.  Police say Wethal also resisted officers who attempted to prevent her from leaving.  Her charges include Operating While Intoxicated 5th Offense, Resisting an Officer, and Possession of THC.
