A total of 56 suspects were arrested in connection with an investigation into a street takeover which occurred in Highland last month, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities made 12 felony arrests at locations in various cities, including Fontana, during the week of May 25-31 as part of the targeted crime suppression program known as Operation Consequences,

Search warrants were served April 20 through April 26 at locations in Victorville, Hesperia, Adelanto, Fontana, Colton and San Bernardino.

Search warrants were carried out in Hesperia, Ontario, Highland and San Bernardino between March 23 and March 29, 2024.

The ongoing series of law enforcement operations targets gang members and people prohibited from possessing guns, authorities said.
