The Belgian police are looking for witnesses in the Netherlands following a recent breakthrough in a cold case that formed part of Operation Identify Me. A woman found murdered in Antwerp on 3 June 1992 has been identified as 31-year-old Rita Roberts from Wales.

Police forces in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany have launched a public appeal to help identify 22 women who were murdered between 1976 and 2019, but whose names remain a mystery, despite years of police work.

Their bodies were found over the years in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. A new campaign aims to find out who they were.
