president, i criticized him on this stuff but i also think impeachment is unwarranted. he s not attacking them in a way that you think he would on some issues. howie: you will report news and commentary, doesn t come through the filter of the mainstream media, do you mean that many conservative colleagues have become cheerleaders for this president? i think that there s a lot of cheerleading going on particularly on the opinion side of things, particularly sort of pundit side of things, one of the things that we have seen inn the last 40 years is that the parties have gotten much weaker, a lot of people in the media have taken party function and carry water for party and some of the op-ed research is fine, look into what the other side is doing, that kind of stuff doesn t offend me in any way,
not in the tank for the president, i criticized him on this stuff but i also think impeachment is unwarranted. he s not attacking them in a way that you think he would on some issues. howie: you will report news and commentary, doesn t come through the filter of the mainstream media, do you mean that many conservative colleagues have become cheerleaders for this president? i think that there s a lot of cheerleading going on particularly on the opinion side of things, particularly sort of pundit side of things, one of the things that we have seen inn the last 40 years is that the parties have gotten much weaker, a lot of people in the media have taken party function and carry water for party and some of the op-ed research is fine, look into what the other side is doing, that kind of stuff
this war at fox between the opinion prime time hosts and the news side. i can t imagine alex, you and i work together. i can t imagine if you on your show started mocking me, another anchor at this network, repeatedly. that would never happen here. and that happened repeatedly to shep, and others. judge napolitano faced similar things by the opinion side. so that s a really bad environment in a newsroom. it s also a bad way to run a business. so i don t know if this is a reflection of more to come, but certainly shep was at his breaking point, and i can very clearly understand why. yeah, and it was clear he left probably in the middle of his contract, but he s also said that he s not retiring. he s going to be back. folks, we got to leave it there. all right. be sure to tune into s.e. s show s.e. cupp unfiltered here at
point. there has been an accumulation of issues. he interviewed a judge that said the president jeopar jeopardy. he could be facing criminal charges as a result of the ukraine scandal. shep is on the air with him, carlson responds to that, his guests were critical of it and there was a civil war going on between the news side and the opinion side. the news side is trying their best to get the information out and the opinion side is spinning for trump. he loves pro-trump talk shows. that is why it is so important to have help like shep smith on the air. that is why for a lot of staffers at fox they feel is a loss not just for fox, but in a way for the country.
testimony, he had that document prepared. he read the document. so it didn t matter what corey said, he was going to read that document. it is all political theater and has nothing to do to getting to the truth. corey did a good job of showing the hypocrisy of some of my democratic colleagues. bill: the opinion side of a newspaper said that the hearing was, to bar a phrase, laughable. if that s the case, does it happen again and if so, who would be the next witness? it will happen again. they will go and track down any witness that they can possibly find, including janitors if they have something negative to say about this president, they re going to bring them in and try to intimidate them to have them say negative things about the president and yet corey was not willing to do that. he is not going to be intimidated by jerry nadler and company.
