Optus has confirmed all services affected by its nationwide network outage are now up and running after more than 12 hours of disruptions. 

Optus has confirmed it will consider all possible measures to compensate customers impacted by its nationwide outage on Wednesday, but stressed its current priority is to get services up and running.

As 10 million Australians were plunged into a countrywide connectivity blackspot caused by the Optus outage, the internet made memes.

Some Optus customers are still yet to get service on their phones or access to the internet, more than 24 hours after the telco suffered the biggest outage in Australian history.
